Mr. Burley was always a gentleman win or lose....
He was more interested in the student as a human being.
When I visited in 1973 he told me I would have played football
if I was bigger at the time which made me feel better
He let the star basketball players PLAY which is why they won so much....
We will all miss him...he is in the best hands now...

I played for Mr. Burley from 1969 to 1972. He was a good man and a good coach to play for.
