I grew up with Eddie in Wilton Manors, where we were classmates from first grade through high school, continuing our friendship through adulthood. I have always appreciated Eddie´s quick wit, intelligence, and kindness. My wife, Angela, and I had wonderful times together in North Carolina with Eddie and Janis. Angela loved Eddie´s and Janis´ fun loving natures immediately upon being introduced, and remembered how proud of Eddie his nephew was when she taught him in fifth grade. Angela will never forget the wonderful day that Eddie drove her and Janis sound the mountains on "the road to nowhere", while she and Janis knew that Eddie was actually on "the road to somewhere"! We know that Eddie enriched the lives of all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Here´s to another "Flying L" who has found his wings!

I first met Eddie in the summer of 1964 when his Family rolled in to our Family campground in Northeastern PA. Our Families became lifelong friends.
Carol, Eddie, Mary, my brother Paul and I were a summer posse. It was an innocent time of afternoons swimming in the cold Meshoppen crick, nights walking dusty dirt roads and silly shenanigans of youth.
Through the years with Janis and Eddie my family shared pizza and cookies, stories and laughter around our dining room table during Holiday visits. They watched our children grow up.
Eddie was fun and joy, kindness and sparkle. And most of all love of life. His spirit remains with us all.
To Janis and Carol and all who knew and loved him, we wish comfort and peace.
