Hi grandpa I miss you so much your 2 years are coming up and its going to be really hard gor me, but I know you are in a better place. You would be so proud I finished school! The boys are getting bigger everyday and they still member you they always talk about you! I love you and I will always be thinking of you!

I love you and miss you everyday it will be soon 2years that you went home, I thank the Lord for been with me during this walk the pain is still there but the empty days and nights are the hardest without you, Everyday I think and remember all the times we plan our life's together but God had other plans for us,

Eddie was a great guy...always willing to lend a hand with a smile.

My deepest sympathies to all family members and friends, especially to his wife Hilda who I am sure will deeply miss him. May God give you the strength you need in starting a life without him. I just learned (Aug 2010 Exch Post) of Eddies passing into the loving arms of Our Father; how glorious that must be for Eddie. I met and worked with Eddie at FSH Bldg. 370 ALER long ago in the '70s. He was a true friend and was the gentlest, kindest, most beautiful soul. There are not enough words to express all the goodness of Eddie that shined like a beacon. I see that he touched many many other lives. Cindy, I will keep you and the family in my prayers. Eddie, you will never be forgotten because I already had memories of you before you left this Earth.

As time goes by you will heal, its the cycle of life that we adapt to. Eddie was not close to his half brothers but was to his half sisters. He is probably having a good time with his mom who past many years ago. He is in a better place no worries, no sickness and will always be young! We have to realize that one day we to will be united with our loved ones we just have to be patient, even tho we feel the should not have been taken from us. We are put on earth for a certain amount of time and when God feels that we have completed our duty and its time to go home, he then calls us. Thats one of the things we need to realize and not be selfish, we to will be called home. Good luck Hilda and charish what little time you had with him, for memories is all that we are left with and we need to take those to heart in order to continue. Eddie may be gone physically but in spirit he still lives. Take care and rejoice for another angel got his wings!!

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Hilda, I am sorry for your loss. Eddie was one of the best. He will be missed deeply. I will pray for you to find peace.

Uncle Eddie you will be missed by everyone who ever had the pleasure of meeting you. What a gentle and caring heart. I am so happy that my extended family (Wllrich) introduced you into our family and into Aunt Hilda's life. We all have had the benefit of an enriched life with you in our hearts and memories. I definitly will miss our banter with each other.

I remember Eddie as a very nice man with the great sense of humor and personality. I am sorry to see him go. He'll be very missed. Our prayers are with you.

My mother Patricia K Tunnell and I would like to send out our deepest condolences to his family. As my mother knew Eddie for so many decades and even transitioned to AAFES Headquarters in Dallas with him they remained friends. He was a really good man from opportunities I was able to meet with him and we enjoyed his company and friendship. He will be truly missed.

As the days past may you heal with Lord's healing hand! He was a good person! may your friends bring you comfort!
