Before retirement, Ed loved being a truck driver for Charles Millious Trucking in Selkirk, NY. He also loved to hunt, fish and spend time with his friends.
Ed is survived by his children, Edward (Mary) W. Coons Jr. of Earlton, NY and Michael (Kelly) A. Coons of Ghent, NY; his sister Carol Ganson of Kinderhook; his grandchildren, Vanessa (Frank) Laureyssens, Jessica Williams, Micaela (Ryan) Coons and Kyle, Christopher and Cody-Marie Srofe; his great grandchildren, Caleb, Jacob, Kaia, Ali, Olivia, Isaiah and Evelyn and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents and wife Dolores, Ed is also predeceased by his daughter, Lisa Marie Coons and siblings, Harry Coons, Shirley Soules and William Coons.
Calling hours for Ed will be from 5-7 PM, Thursday, March 16th at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Valatie.
