It had saddened me when I heard of the News on Ed and Jo-Ann Corr passing. Ed and I were involved with Boy Scouts Of America (BSA). We had our sons in Troop 31. Back in Spring of 1999, Ed and I did the Wood Badge course offered by BSA. This is to further learn about camping, skills, and other, to be passed on the Scouts in the Troop. During the course, Ed and I shared the same tent in Camp Squanto, the same tents that were being set up for Summer camp. I remember Ed having a back pack. He must have had some trail mix or snacks in it. We were visited by a racoon trying to get to the snacks. I tried to shoo it away and it just starred at me. Eventually it left. We had some great time in that course. our group was about 10 adults working together. There were many groups.

Ed was easy to get along and was always ready to lend a hand. Jo-Ann was a Girl Scout leader. My two daughters were in her Troop. Me being a male, could not help out, but I brought my daughters to the meetings and sat back as the leaders worked with the girls. Jo-Ann always had a smile that could luminate a room.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family in this difficult time. May God be with you now and always.

I worked with Ed at Dattco in Randolph, Ma. He was a great guy and enjoyed our time at the shop. He will be missed. My heart goes out to the family and my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
