69, of Monroeville passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023, after complications from a brain aneurysm. Born June 11, 1953, in Wilmerding, PA. He graduated from Serra Catholic High School in McKeesport in 1971. He enlisted in the Marines and was in active duty for nine months and then spent the next four years in the Reserves. Ed took an apprenticeship at Westinghouse as a Tool and Die Maker and then worked there briefly. He then was employed at Brown and Zortman Machine Co. in Greentree, as a salesman. He also worked for and was the President of Barney Machinery Co. in Pittsburgh until 2002. Then he went to Able Machine Tool Co. in Massachusetts where he was the vice president and managed the sales department. He was a long-time member of American Machine Tool Distributors Association. He retired from there in 2019 and in 2020, he returned home to Monroeville, PA. In 1980, Ed married the love of his life, RuthAnn Behrer whom he sadly divorced in 2004. Edward is survived by his dearly loved two sons, Edward (Sarah) Corridon, III and Jonathan (Allison) Corridon; treasured brother to Jack, Thomas, Timothy (Sue), and Kathy; dear grandfather of Clara, Peter, Emma, Luke, and Isaiah Corridon; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Edward is preceded in death by his parents, Edward Corridon, Sr. and Doris Corridon. Ed loved to spend his time in the garage making wood working products and painting. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, April 13, 2023, from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747). A Blessing Service will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels at https://www.pitcare.org/our-programs/pitcare-meals-on-wheels. Please add or view tributes at www.jobefuneralhome.com.
