Dad, you were always a man after God's own heart a man of honor, a man of valor, but most of all a loving man who was a great example of love in action to his children never making the difference and always about the business of a servant for Christ Jesus there is nothing that can express the emptiness of you not being on this earth but it is joyous that we will meet again someday, I prayed today that you would be abiding in the sweet love of Jesus together with him and mom and Georgia so long dad till we meet again

Ed was an awesome man with a big heart. Always ready to help others in any way he could. He will be truly missed by all. I can remember all the times he came in to see what he could do to help our Junior Youth group at OLOL. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. The Codding Family

Ed was a great man and a pillar of this community....Walter, Mike, Steve, Ed, Mary, Nancy, the whole Craven Family....as you know, you had a great father, what a loss....Ed was a man myself and my whole family, both my late parents particularly had a world of respect for....think I have known your family since my bother Steve was in jr high with Mike....Ed was an usher at both of my parents funerals....he did so much for OLOL and his community....he will always be on our list of "solid men" a title I don't give lightly....I, we, the whole Emerich Family is so very sorry. Your dad and all of you, the Craven Family in its entirety is in our thoughts and prayers. Be well, neighbors....

A great man with a huge heart and smile. You were always so sweet to me, I will miss you coming to visit me at work. This world was a better place because of you. I am sure you are dancing in heaven with your wife with the biggest smile. We all should learn from you and the way you lived your life. You will be missed by many but I have faith that you will continue to watch over all of us.

A special man with a big heart. He will always be here in all the kind things he did for others.
We got to reconnect when he started coming to the Ledyard Senior Center. His smile, and the way he always had positive things to say will be missed by us all.He spoke proudly of his children, his grandchildren and his wife who left this earth too soon.

Ed was beyond helpful for absolutely anything you needed.
The most kind, friendly and dedicated person ever.
Ed' shed was a treasure trove of love.
We should all take a page or two from his book of kindness and go forth and do what Ed did .
Ed, I loved working with you and thank you for all you did for me and all the young people of the parish.
You will be missed.
Rest easy.

I worked with that dear man for 20 years. He was a living Saint. He was dedicated to his church and was always ready to help. He was like a big brother to me.

He loved his wife very much. He showed me a picture of his wedding day. He was helping his bride down some stairs while looking at her with so much love that I felt I was intruding on their special moment.

I loved him and will miss him. He was a quiet guy but with a very dry sense of humor. I brought in a statue of the sacred heart for the table across from my office, only there were no hands. Ed left for his beloved shed Containing almost anything that you could need.

He returned with a basket of doll hands????? He gave Jesus hands. Unfortunately there were chubby little feet.
Bye sweet man.

Dad,I remember the smile you had when I first called you that. You are an amazing man , you were a father figure to more than just your own kids. The love and kindness you gave will always be remebered by all who had pleasure of knowing you.
