Edward Joseph Curry passed away in his home on January 21, 2026. He was 63 years old. Joe was an easy-going guy who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved his big baby pit bull, Blue. Joe’s door was always open, and he welcomed visits from friends and family. He loved to watch the Colts and Nascar. Joe retired from his job as a security officer in 2023 after being diagnosed with\then beating cancer.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Carole Bledsoe (Crow) and Jimmy Lee Curry; his grandparents; his uncle, William Crow, and his cousin, Dennis Long.
He is survived by sisters, Julie Curry, Lori Newlin, and Marshetta Curry; brother, Jamie Curry; nieces and nephews, Angel Fulton, Amanda Cross, Toby Snider, Hailey Curry and Crystal Curry; aunt, Vanessa Crow; cousins, Shannon Anderson (Jimmy), Jaime Long, Courtney Darling (Duane), Ashley Crow, Jordan Richardson, Glen Asberry, Dylan Crow, Devin Gerbofsky (Kylie), Derek Duvall; many 2nd and 3rd cousins; and his girlfriend Teresa Settle.
A memorial service\celebration of life will be held on Wednesday January 28, 2026, at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services–Lawrence, 5215 Shadeland Avenue, Indianapolis, IN with friends and family gathering from 2:00 pm–3:00 pm and services at 3:00 pm.
