Edward Lawrence Parker, of Covington, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at the age of 57. Mr. Parker passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and cherished memories. He found great joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially spending time fishing and enjoying the outdoors. A devoted father, he rarely missed a moment cheering on his daughters at their softball games, proudly supporting them both as a fan and as a coach.
Family was at the heart of everything he did. He deeply loved his children and grandchildren, treasuring every opportunity to be with them. He also valued the strong bond he shared with his brothers, creating lifelong memories filled with laughter and companionship.
Known for his unwavering loyalty, Mr. Parker was a true and dependable friend to many. His kindness, dedication, and love for those around him will be remembered always.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Curtis Lee Parker; and granddaughter, Zoey Zachery.
Survivors include his Daughters, Elizabeth Bedford (Ben), Savannah Zachery (Quinton); grandchildren, Adalyn, Oakley, Brody, Remy, Rory, Kane, Zayd, Quinlan, Saveah; parents, Joseph Parker and Marian Harden; brothers, Alan Parker and Kenneth Parker; as well as several nieces, nephews, Cousins and other family members.
A Funeral Service for Mr. Parker will be held Saturday, March 28, 2026, 1:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with interment following in Brownwood Baptist Church Cemetery, 1521 Thankful Road, in Madison. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home two hours prior to his service, from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.
