Edward P. Ellis was born on Tuesday, June 9, 1970 in Trenton, New Jersey to Patricia M. Ellis and Franklin R. Ellis Sr.
He was educated in the Trenton public school system. He was self employed.
In his leisure time, Edward enjoyed the art of music. His passion was to write and rap. He loved spending time with his family and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother Patricia M. Ellis; his father Franklin R. Ellis Sr.; his brother Franklin R. Ellis Jr.
Edward's memory will be cherished and forever remembered by his sisters Tonya, Andrea, Seeaflia, Kim, Leniene, Tabitha; his brother Lawrence; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 11am Friday, February 13, 2026 at Hughes Funeral Home, 324 Bellevue Ave., Trenton, NJ 08618. Calling hour will be 10am until the time of service. Interment will be at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing, NJ.

To the Ellis Family, With my deepest condolences and prayers of healing during this time. I loved Edward and will miss him dearly. He would call me from time to time just to catch up, talk, and, laugh. His spirit was genuine, kind and loving. I remember when we first met. Edward was just a young child. He grow into a man that cared about his family and friends. He was always a sweet kind person. He made me laugh about the old days and brought joy to the hearts of people he met along his journey. Rest in peace knowing you were loved and forever in our heart. I love you.
