The family of Edward D. Foy mourn his peaceful passing on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at the age of 73.

Born in Omaha, Neb., on June 2, 1952, to Donald and Eloise Foy, Ed grew up in the Ralston area with his younger brothers, John and Paul. The bonds forged in childhood remained strong throughout his life, characterized by mutual support and a healthy dose of sibling rivalry. Ed carried the values instilled in him by his parents into every aspect of his adult life.

While still in Ralston, Ed met the love of his life, Kathleen. Their enduring partnership was a testament to commitment, mutual respect, and shared faith. After marrying, the couple moved to Lincoln to raise their three daughters, Becky, Stacy, and Cindy. He cherished his role as a husband, father, and grandfather above all else.

Ed's profound faith guided his character, making him a trusted friend and a generous soul. His resilience in life and the business he built, Foy Financial Services, marked him as a respected figure in the community, forging strong friendships.

Ed is survived by his beloved wife, Kathy; his three daughters; his brothers; and his eleven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He leaves behind a legacy of love, commitment, and kindness that will forever be treasured.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Eloise Foy.

There will be a rosary service on Thursday, December 11 at 7:30 p.m., followed by the funeral Mass on Friday, December 12 at 10:30 a.m., both at St. John's Catholic Church in Lincoln, Neb.
