Edward F. Gauthier Jr., 81, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Friday, August 20, 2021 at his residence.
Funeral services will be private.
Mr. Gauthier was born September 28, 1939 in Buffalo, New York to the late Edward and Lillian Neil Gauthier. He served in the United States Army and later retired from West Central Georgia Hospital as a social worker. In his leisure time Mr. Gauthier enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and instructing scuba diving. He also attended Cascade Hills Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Lorri Bowling Gauthier, daughter; Debra Dunn (Dennis), step-son; Matthew Agan, grandchildren; Candace Taylor, Brittany Smith, Jorja Agan, and great grandchildren; Adelyn Smith, Finn Smith, and Parker Taylor.
Mr. Gauthier is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Joan Nasca.
At this time the family as asked not to receive any flowers.
