Edward G. Gibbs Jr., age 88, of Williamstown, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 26, 2026.
Born in Maple Shade, New Jersey, Edward lived a life rooted in love, service, and devotion to family. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bonnie Gibbs, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and companionship.
Edward proudly served his country as a Second Class Airman in the United States Air Force. He remained deeply connected to his fellow veterans as a longtime member of American Legion Post 252, where he valued camaraderie, service, and friendship.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his loving daughter, Jennifer Kulla, and son-in-law, Ralph Kulla. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Rachael Kofoet; Jessica Papa and her husband Brandon Papa; John Kofoet Jr. and his wife Erika Kofoet; Carly Dintino and her husband David Dintino; and Ava Grow, as well as his treasured great-grandchildren, Paisley Kofoet, daughter of John, and Charlotte Papa, daughter of Jessica.
Edward found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially shuffleboard and bowling, and treasured time spent with his family. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, kind heart, quiet strength, and the unconditional love he gave so freely.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday Feb. 4, 2026, at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
Edward G. Gibbs Jr. will be deeply missed and forever loved.
