Edward Gobea Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jan. 6, 2026.
Edward C. Gobea, lovingly known as Eddie, of Clarksville, Tennessee, passed away on January 3, 2026, at the age of 53. He was born on May 17, 1972, in Florence, Arizona.
Edward was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Gobea; his mother, Dora Gobea; and his sister, Mary Jane Damron.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Andrea Gobea; his beloved son, Jace Lorenzo; his nephew, Richee Damron; his nephew and godson Scott Damron; along with many extended family members and friends who cherished him deeply.
Eddie proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army, honoring his commitment to service with dedication and integrity. Following his military service, he attended Arizona State University and later built a career with Koorsen Fire and Security, where he worked as a fire alarm inspector. He was respected for his knowledge, work ethic, and professionalism.
Eddie will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He will always be remembered for his infectious laugh, distinct personality, and ever-evolving view of life. His presence left a lasting impression on everyone he met, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have shared in his journey.
Eddie had, in recent years, come to know Jesus as his Savior and was baptized in 2022. We take comfort knowing that he is now pain and cancer free and resting eternally with the only One that cherishes him more than we did.
Please visit Edward's tribute wall and share a memory with the family.
