Ladies and Gentlemen,

Today, I´d like to tell you about my Dad. Technically, he´s my father-in-law or as I like to call him, my father-in-love, but to me he´ll always be my Dad.

We gather here today with heavy hearts but also with immense gratitude to honor and celebrate the life of Edward Gonzales, a remarkable man whose presence touched the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know him. He was born on April 28, 1945, in the beautiful town of Pueblo, Colorado appropriately referred to as the Home of Heroes. Edward was a man of many roles and immense character, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished for generations.

Edward was a man whose impact on the world and those around him was profound and lasting. His journey through life was marked by ambition, love, patriotism, faith, and an unwavering commitment to his family and friends.

Edward was an ambitious man who approached life with unparalleled enthusiasm and determination. From an early age, he pursued his dreams with vigor, never shying away from challenges and always striving to better himself and those around him. His ambition was not just about personal success but about creating a brighter future for his loved ones.

As an American patriot, Edward held a deep and abiding love for his country. His children, Diana and Marc, knew they could always count on him, and his influence has shaped them into the incredible individuals they are today. He taught them the values of honesty, kindness, and perseverance, and he watched with pride as they grew into remarkable adults.
