Edward Eugene Guinn, Sr., 93, of Louisville passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025, at Norton Audubon Hospital.
He was born in Louisville on February 3, 1932 to the late Mary Beatrice Whelan Guinn and Othello Monroe Guinn, Jr.
He worked as a food broker for AJ Seibert retiring after 40 years, was a member of St. Stephen Martyr Catholic Church and was a Marine veteran.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy A. Donnelly Guinn; grandchildren, Catherine and Matt; brother, Bob Guinn; and son-in-law, Mark Zehnder.
He is survived by his children, Linda Burbridge (Rodney), Carla Zehnder, Bob Armstrong (Caroline), Edward Guinn, Jr. (Marian), and Jill Marie Barker; brothers, William D. Guinn (Marie), and James P. Guinn (Carol); 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
His memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 21, 2025 at St. Stephen Martyr Catholic Church 2931 Pindell Avenue with inurnment to follow in St. Michael's Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. at the church prior to services.
