Edward D. Hampton Jr.

Edward D. Hampton, Jr., 85, of North Wales, died Wednesday, December 31, 2025. He was the beloved companion of Dorothy "Dottie" Hollinger and husband of the late Mary (Davis) Hampton.

Born March 30, 1940 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Kathryn (Carpenter) and Edward D. Hampton, Sr.

Mr. Hampton was employed as a draftsman and designer with the former Fischer & Porter for 47 years. He enjoyed crafting beautiful plaques and sports memorabilia with his son. Ed was also active with the North Penn Marching Knights and, earlier in life, was an avid fisherman.

In addition to his companion, he is survived by his son, Bradley S. Hampton; sister, Kay Bogdanescu (husband, Peter); and his faithful dog, Princess; and granddogs, Malibu, and Brinley.

He was preceded in death by his niece, Kathy, and his beloved dog, Kobe.

Relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Sanctuary United Methodist Church, 1346 E. Prospect Ave., North Wales, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
