Edward J. Harris

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Visiting Hours on Friday, October 18th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Vertuccio Smith & Vazza, Beechwood Home for Funerals, 262 Beach St., Revere for Edward. J "Eddie" Harris, who died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 10th, he was 50 years old. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home at 8:00 pm. Interment will be held privately.
Eddie was born on January 3, 1974, in Malden, MA. He was raised in East Boston and was educated in Boston Public Schools. Eddie was always incredibly talented with his hands, and he worked in the construction field for most of his working career. He owned and operated his own construction business for a period. For the past 25 years he lived with his grandmother and helped her with whatever she needed. He was fastidious with cleaning and helped keep a nice home. Eddie was very health conscious and enjoyed weightlifting. He was always at the gym and keeping in shape. He enjoyed the outdoors, loved fishing, and being on his motorcycle. He will always be remembered for all of the love he had for his family and will be greatly missed by those who loved him.
He is the beloved son of Violet A. Harris & the late James E. King, both of East Boston. Loving grandson of Theresa "Nonni" Harris of Revere and her late husband Wayne Harris. Cherished brother of Teriann Harris of East Boston. He is the treasured uncle of Jaidyn Caleb Harris and Brianna Marie Nevils. Dear nephew of Wayne Harris and his wife Madeline of Saugus, Rose Demers of East Boston and Christine Edwards and her husband Richard of Saugus. He is also lovingly survived by many cousins and friends.
