Ed was born August 30, 1957, to Elizabeth Allen Harris and the late Alan Harris in Eastmont, Wilkins Township, PA.
Ed worked as a medical dispatcher and courier. He enjoyed working on cars and home remodeling projects.
In addition to his father, Ed was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Harris.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Wood; daughter, Leslie (Alan) Gilman; mother, Elizabeth Allen Harris; grandchildren, Jase, Annabeth, and Nolan Gilman; brother, David (Donna) Harris; and six nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747).
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2022, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery in Monroeville.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the ALS Association (www.als.org).
