Edward "Eddie" Haughton of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away January 30, 2026, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 88. He was born January 6, 1938, in Mamaroneck, New York, the son of Thomas and Ida Anscomb Haughton. He married Eleanor Jean "Tippy" Kugler on May 14, 1983 in Enid, Oklahoma and worked as a Mechanic for Northrup Aircraft for over 35 years. Eddie was a U.S. Army veteran. He lived in Mountain Home since moving from Sheridan, Wyoming in 1998. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, art and music. Eddie was a member of East Side Baptist Church in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Eddie is survived by his children, Albert, Michael, Rhonda Haughton and Susie Stewart; stepchildren, Sheila Stroud, Carol Swartwood, David Hobbs and Ron Hobbs, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and friend Donna Bowers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and brothers William and John Haughton.
