Edward A. House Jr.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved son, Edward A House Jr, who left us far too soon on February 13, 2026, at the age of 39.

Edward was a loving son, a loyal friend, devoted husband, and proud bonus dad. Edward was known for his quick humor, warm smile, and incredibly kindhearted. He had a gift for making people laugh, even in life's hardest moments, and his presence brought comfort and joy to everyone around him. His laughter was contagious, and his love was steady and true.

As a devoted husband, Edward was a faithful partner and best friend, building a life grounded in love, commitment, and countless shared memories. His greatest pride was being a bonus dad to two wonderful boys. He loved them wholeheartedly, showed up for them without hesitation, and supported them with patience, guidance, and unwavering encouragement. To them, he was not just a bonus-he was a blessing.

Though our hearts are broken, we are grateful for the love he gave so freely and the memories that will live on in all of us. Edward's legacy of laughter, kindness, and devotion will never be forgotten.

Edward is survived by his loving parents, Kimberlee House Josephs and Edward A House Sr, stepfather Lanzatrington Josephs, and stepmother Rita House. His devoted wife Patricia House and stepchildren Robert and Alex Severino. His thoughtful caring grandmother Joyce Strube. His loyal sister Trinity (Tycere), step siblings; Dakota, Dominic (Jonelle), and Damien. His amazing nieces and nephews; Ellie, Vaeda, Kennedy, Sebastian, Xavier and Mason. His kindhearted aunts and uncles; Tracy (Tom), and Lori (Tommy). His affectionate cousins Cierra, Brenna, Kasey, Karlee, Brian, and Tommy. His aunts, uncle, and cousins who reside in North Carolina. His in-laws Lori Redden (Bill), his extended family aunts and uncles; Rene' (John), Celeste (Ron), Nancy (Scott), and Andy (Anna). His brother-in-law Thomas, sister-in-laws Mary and Laura, cousin Dillon, and Pop-pop Gus. Lest we forget his fur babies Oreo and Marley.

An urn visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 25th from 6-8pm at Earle Funeral Home, 122 West Church Street, Blackwood, NJ 08012.

A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, February 27th starting at 10am at Victory in Christ Christian Center,1055 Delsea Dr., Westville, NJ 08093.

In Lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the American Heart Association.
