I worked for Father at St Joseph Church in Scituate RI for several years. Father took my youngest son under his wings since my son wanted to serve Mass at a much younger age than usual. Today my son is a priest. I also studied with Father to convert to Catholicism shortly after he arrived at St Joseph Church.

I interacted with Father Ted a number of times while at St Matthew and later since we both had been military Officers and both served in the Vietnam War. One of the most genuine, humorous, and articulate priests I have been blessed with knowing. And I still have one of the volumes he lent me from his St Paul group books. The Lord is getting to welcome one of the best.

My sincere condolences to Farther Ted's passing. My memory of him was his understanding and great talks with him He made Saint Joe's in N. Situated a better parish. And our friendly wager over Army veruses Navy.

As a member of St. Matthew, I spent many hours with Fr. Ted driving him back and forth from Garden Plaza to the church and back again. He had given up driving so I helped out when he was needed at St. Matthew. I heard many stories about his time spent as a chaplain. He had a great sense of humor and I will always cherish those trips we made together.

As a Eucharistic Minister to the Homebound I visited him last Sunday and I've visited him at Arbor Terrace for at least 4 years. When my wife and I first visited him and as I setup for communion, he asked "where's my wine". Almost every visit thereafter he asked me "how's you're sweety doing", and he gave me a
blessing as I prepared to depart. I'll miss seeing him.
