God graciously gave me the honor of working with Ed in various groups at SRS for over 27 years. We started in the same group and ended up in the same group. I am grateful for the laughs and tears we shared together throughout the many changes in our lives and work, and the brother God gave me. He´s one of the few individuals I can trust. We often had deep talks about Jesus and about life. Ed was pleasantly peculiar and humble, a great soul. I will miss you my brother in Christ. Rest now, and I will see you again.

I have known Ed for around two decades. Ed was a contractor for me at Savannah River. We were at many conferences together, and he was always smiling and in such a great mood. He went out of his way to introduce everyone to each other making friends always. He would call me every few weeks just to talk, sometimes professional and others just to gab. I will truly miss Ed.

As a colleague, Ed was a noble and rare individual. He was competent in the nuclear/chemical engineering field. He learned and applied the the regulations for safe & secure transportation of nuclear materials - needs for the nation. With Ed, always fun. No pretenses or airs of superiority, although he was superior! Ed brought life to the party. Ed will be sorely missed today. We will see Ed again after the resurrection.

Worked in the same building with Ed for several years and collaborated with him. He had a great sense of humor, could bounce ideas off him, and he was always willing to help. He will be greatly missed.

Ed was a very dear friend of mine during my working career at Savannah River national laboratory. He was always willing to help in anywhere he could, and every year insisted on giving us fruit that his son sold for the silver Bluff band he would never allow us to give him any money. I must tell a story about Ed. He came in and asked me to help him with something and in a kidding manner, I told him if he brought in a window air conditioner for the girl that worked with me to use while her air conditioner was getting fixed. We would help him. I was only just kidding, and the next thing you know Ed walks in with two window of units and took them to her house and installed them for her. That´s just the kind of guy and is. Loved working with Ed. He will be greatly missed.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Ed´s passing. Ed worked in my group when he first came to Savannah River. He was a dedicated and skilled engineer, but an even better friend and mentor to many. He will be missed. My condolences to his family and friends.
