Obituary:

Edward "Ed" Alexander Klewicki, age 62, was born on February 24, 1962, in Taegu City, Korea, to parents Bok Soon Klewicki and Edward Leonard Klewicki. He passed away on April 11, 2024, in Albuquerque, NM. Ed's parents emigrated to the United States in 1972 and settled in Albuquerque, where Ed spent the rest of his life. He is survived by his loving wife Debra Klewicki, sons Alexander and Brandon Klewicki, sister Dorothy Klewicki, and niece Kelly Otero. Ed was preceded in death by both of his parents.

A proud graduate of Manzano High School in 1980, Ed pursued a successful career as a store manager for Golden Pride Chicken for nearly 40 years. Additionally, he ventured into entrepreneurship in various fields. Ed was known for his kindness, mentorship, and wisdom, impacting the lives of many. His adventurous spirit led him to travel the world, always seeking growth and new experiences. Among his passions were playing pool, reading, and indulging in his love for food and coffee.

A devoted husband, father, uncle, and friend, Ed's actions were always driven by his love for his family and friends. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Services for Ed will be held on Saturday, April 20, at Vista Verde Memorial Park in Rio Rancho at 9:30 am. Interment will follow at Gates of Heaven Cemetery in Albuquerque. All who knew Ed are welcome to attend and pay their respects to a remarkable man who touched the lives of many.

I stayed with Uncle Ed and Aunt Debbie in 2022 for a vacation with Anthony. It was the best vacation I ever had thanks to them! Ed taught me how to play pool for hours in the evening when I was there with them. He made me laugh and I felt so blessed to have spent hours with him. I remember he showed me how to make coffee with their fancy espresso machine and I eventually got a similar one a few months later because of him. I remember him telling me stories of them dressing up for Halloween. He left an impact on my heart and I will forever remember him for being one of the reasons why I had unforgettable first trip out to the west coast. Anthony talked about him all the time. I will keep him and the rest of their amazing family in my heart and my memory forever.

One of the best men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was welcoming and kind to everyone. I enjoyed having coffee with him when I visited. He made the best coffee I ever tasted! Missing you like crazy Ed and love you forever. RIP my sweet friend and cousin!

I will never forget the good time we shared in Las Vegas. Ed had such a kind spirit and he always brought smiles with him when he entered the room. Ed will be truly missed. Rest Easy Ed...
