Edward Norton Levitsky

Edward Norton Levitsky, 75,of Middletown, husband of the late Faith (Cohen) Levitsky, passed away on Thursday, January 22nd at his home. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Sam and Tessie (Meyer) Levitsky. Eddie lived in Middletown all of his life and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and Uconn Huskies basketball. He is survived by his two sons, Jeffrey J. Levitsky and his wife, Deborah and Steven B. Levitsky and his wife, Linda, all of Middletown; a brother, Gerald Levitsky and his wife, Claire of Newington; a sister, Sandra Garston and her husband, Martin of Florida; and his three grandchildren, Geoffrey, Daniel, and David. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 25th at 11:00 am in the Adath Israel Cemetery, Pine Street, Middletown with the Rabbi Eve Eichenholtz officiating. There will be no calling hours and in lieu of flowers, friends may make donations in Eddie's memory to Meals on Wheels c/o Middletown Senior Center, 150 William Street, Middletown, CT 06457.
