Edward J. Maj, age 76, of Hobart, IN, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023.
Edward is survived by his wife, Phyllis Elaine Maj (nee Soos); children: Michael Joseph, Marianne Kathleen Hutchens, Richard Bradford; and grandchildren: Taylor Maj Webb Braden, Andru Maj, Alyah Hutchens, Beau Hunter Hutchens.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents: Zofia and Michael Maj; and brother, Ted Maj.
Edward worked as a Millwright at U.S. Steel Gary Works for 38 years. He was a devoted member of the American Legion and enjoyed billiards and woodworking. Edward proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.
Services are entrusted to Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre.
