Edward "Ed" Marrero, 69 years old, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Mobile, AL. He is survived by his devoted wife, Juliette Marrero, mother Henrietta Marrero Washington, sons, Richmond Marrero Sr and Ryan Marrero; and three grandchildren, Richmond Marrero Jr., Dior' Armani Marrero-Haley, and Divine Marrero. He is also survived by a host of loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Washington, and his beloved aunts. Family and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 6154 Press Drive, New Orleans, LA 70126. Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m., with services at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Aubrey J. Watson Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 4000 Norman Mayer Ave., New Orleans, LA 70122. Employees of Liberty Bank & Trust and members of Holy Cross Lutheran Church are invited to attend in honor of his life and legacy. Guestbook Online: www.anewtraditionbegins.com (504)282-0600.
