Edward G. Marullo

Edward (Eddie) was born on November 5, 1961, at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, MA. He was the fifth and youngest child of Gaspar E. and Patricia A. (O'Connell) Marullo. After 64 years on this earth, he passed to the next life on December 4, 2025, at the Care Dimensions Hospice in Lincoln, MA after suffering a long illness and dealing with a myriad of health issues in his later years.

Eddie was a beloved and sometimes exasperating sibling to his brothers Joseph (and his late wife, Barbara) and Walter, and his sisters Alice and Filippa (Antonio) Anzalone. Eddie was the beloved uncle of Joseph (Bethany) Marullo and Gregory (Tracy) Marullo and Patricia (Paul) Anzalone Golovato and Lucia Anzalone. He was also the proud great-uncle of Olivia Marullo and Gus, Joseph, and Peter Marullo and Fiona and Adrian Golovato. He was a generous and loyal friend.

Eddie was a graduate of Medford High School, and he attended Wentworth Institute, UMass Boston, and Bunker Hill Community College. He worked in sales before his retirement, living for thirty-five years in Arlington, MA, and for a while, he had a second residence in Sandwich, MA.

Eddie loved animals, and he was especially fond of cats. He enjoyed gardening and, for many years, his beautiful and bountiful garden was the envy of his neighbors. However, Eddie shared the fruits of his horticultural labors with everyone who was willing to take home bags of tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers. Eddie was a unique and cherished youngest sibling; we will miss him, and we are grateful for the time that we shared with him.
