Edward James Michael

Edward J. Michael, 87, of Berlin, NJ, passed away on April 2, 2024.
Edward was born in Bunker Hill, NJ, now known as Sewell, but has resided in Berlin for the past 59 years. In his younger days, Ed started working on his families farm and has made farming his life ever since. He was extremely hardworking and took great pride in his crops and livestock. Ed enjoyed the simple things, like watching NASCAR, antique cars and working on his farming equipment. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Beloved husband of the late Marie (nee Atkins), Devoted father of Marie Anne Smith, Deborah Anne Schmid (Robert), Denise Ellen Holroyd (John), Edward Keith Michael (Helen) and Virginia DeAntonellis (Mario). Cherished grandfather of Bill Cox (Tara), Jonathan Holroyd (Kym), Jaclyn Holroyd, Kelly Schmid (Wyndham), Amanda Michael-Magazzu (Joe), Nathan Holroyd (Chelsea), Shelby Michael (Ed), Bobby Schmid (Sophia), Rachel Schmid-Higgins (Pat), Christina Michael (Jack), Leeann Michael (PJ) and Alena DeAntonellis (Pat), and great grandfather of Angaleena, Billy, Madisyn, Katrina, Declan, Jonathan, Rory and Baby M.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday, April 9th, 2024 from 10:00am-11:00am at the Saint Simon Stock Parish, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 178 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00am at the church. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 260 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009.
