Edward Lee Mock

Edward Lee Mock passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025, at the age of 90.
Mr. Mock was born on September 7, 1935, in Doumen, Guangzhou Province, China. He immigrated to the United States in 1952 and graduated from high school in 1957. From 1957 to 1959, he served honorably in the United States Army with the 101st Airborne Division, stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He trained as a Paratrooper and worked as an aerial photographer and cartographer.
In 1962, Mr. Mock returned to China, where he married Elaine, his devoted wife of 63 years. After returning to the United States, they owned and operated a fruit stand until 1973, then transitioned to the nursery and flower-growing business, working together until their retirement in Morgan Hill, California.
Mr. Mock was active in business and community affairs. He served as Chairman of the Board at California Security Bank and as an officer and advisor to the Hip Sen Association, Bay Area Chrysanthemum Growers Association, Yee Ying Benevolent Association, and Hee Sen Benevolent Association.
Mr. Mock is survived by his wife, Elaine; two sons, Elton and Edton, two daughters, Eileen Kim and Encina Casarez, three grandchildren, Brianna, Corrina and Ryan, and his younger brother, Stanley.
