Leona and Devitt, I am so sorry to hear about Eddie's passing. I always enjoyed being with him, from an intense sports conversation, to a fun party and even some cocktails on the boat. He always made it fun and comfortable to be with him - opening your Sea Isle home to me, quickly serving a cold drink and being interested in what I had to say. I appreciate and respect his service to our country during a war where I'm sure he saw things that never left him. I hope you both can find the strength to be thankful for the blessings of a good husband and father - just never long enough. We are praying for both of you.

Dear Uncle Eddie,
When I look at your pictures, it's hard for me to believe that you are gone. My fondest memories of you and when I really got to know you was after my children were born. Elisabeth was so energetic, I thought how will I keep her from bothering Uncle Eddie and then the most surprising thing happened, you both hit it off and had a very special relationship that nobody could understand except you and her. It warmed my heart to see the two of you together and you were so kind to Rebeca. I always loved the 4th of July on Lowery's Lane. You would get your truck out and all the kids would sit in the back of your pick up with you. You were so happy. It showed on your face.
I'm so glad we made it to Lowery's Lane this summer. The 4th of July was great! Everyone was there and even though the truck wasn't, you still came out and watched the parade. You were happy. I will always keep these fond memories close to my heart and never forget them. Rest in Peace now.
Love your niece,
Hilary

RIP Eddie
When I think back to our younger years I will always remember you and I winning the dance contest. Leona, Mary Jane and I had so much fun hanging out with you Little Chicago guys. Hope somebody up there is making sausage and peppers for you!!!
I have so many funny memories of you and Frank when you went to Florida. Especially when you were trying to finish your exam at Villanova and you could see Frank out in the Buick with the motor running waiting for you.
You raised a wonderful person in Devitt. Know that we are all thinking of you and praying for Leona and Devitt.
Tell Frank Fry how much we all miss him. I guess you and Frank have shared a couple of rum and cokes.
Some day we will all be reunited.
Until that day Eddie rest in peace.

Ed was a great friend and co-worker. Strong, steadfast and loyal beyond words. He was the epitome of the kind of guy that one would want beside them in a foxhole. Leona and Devitt, very sorry for your loss.
