Edward Gray Moore, 83, of Elizabeth Township passed away Saturday, February 7, 2026. He was born at home in Greenock on September 30, 1942 to the late Milton Ray and Merle Sara (Gray) Moore. Ed worked many years in the GC Murphy warehouse as well as Ames Department Store. He was a long time member of the Central Volunteer Fire Department as well as the Boston United Methodist Church, where he met the love of his life, Virginia Kay (Fordyce) Moore. They were married for 57 beautiful years before she passed away in March 2023. Ed was an avid sports fan. In his younger years, he played basketball and baseball, but as he got older, he enjoyed anything that got him outdoors - such as golfing, and taking long distance bike rides. He is survived by his son, Edward Ray Moore of Elizabeth Township; his daughter, Dr. Diane (Steve) Fine of Farmington; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Morselli; three grandchildren, Tristan, Halley, and Oliver Moore; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, Ed is preceded in death by his sons, Craig Kenneth Moore, and Owen James Moore; as well as his 10 siblings of which he was the youngest and last surviving. There is no visitation. Arrangements are by the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, director.
