Moshinsky Edward W. Moshinsky, 84, of Yardley, PA, died on Sunday May 27 at Lansdale Hospital, Lansdale, PA. Born in Port Carbon, PA, Edward was a 49 year resident of Yardley. Edward is a Graduate of Penn State Univ. and a veteran of the US Army, the US Coast Guard, and the Merchant Marines during WWII. He is a retired Hydrologic Technician Supervisor from the US Geological Survey agency of the Department of the Interior with over 40 years of service. After retirement, Ed was a courtesy driver for the Faulkner Auto Group for over 12 years. Ed was a long-time Committee Chair and Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 30, and a member of St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Yardley. Ed is the son of the late Walter and Jennie Ryndock Moshinsky and the devoted husband of Margaret Schminkey Moshinsky. He is the caring father of Carol Gillen, wife of John Gillen of Millsboro, DE, Janet Dubble, wife of David Dubble of Lebanon, PA, Susan Bahe, wife of Gerald Bahe of Lancaster, PA, Ed Moshinsky, husband of Pam Moshinsky of Lansdale, and Lynne Watts, wife of Ryan Watts of Downingtown, PA. Ed is the loving grandfather of Kyle and Ronnie Moshinsky, Tyler and Noah Bahe, Alyssa, Kyra and Lauryn Watts. He is also survived by a brother Robert Moshinsky of Sewell, NJ and a sister Dot Mollan of Lansdale, PA and many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to Ed's Life Celebration from 11 to 1 PM on Friday, June 1 and to his funeral service at 1 PM at the Swartz/Givnish Funeral Home, 323 Washington Ave. Newtown, PA. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown. Memorial contributions in Edward's name may be made to the Boy Scouts of America, Bucks Co.
