Edward Murphy Obituary
Edward Michael Murphy II, Esq. of Mission Viejo, Calif. died June 23 surrounded by his family in Mission Viejo. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Patricia Anne Fitzpatrick Murphy.
Born in Scranton, son of the late Judge Edward M. and Mary Kilcullen Murphy, he was a graduate of Scranton Preparatory School, a Jesuit College preparatory high school. Ed was a graduate of the University of North Dakota and Western State College of Law. He was a member of the State Bar of California. Prior to his retirement he was practicing law in California.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia Fitzpatrick Murphy; and his sister, Kathleen A. Murphy, Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. and several cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of St. Gregory, 330 N. Abington Road, Clarks Green. Interment, St. Patrick's Cemetery, Olyphant. Friends will be received at the church from 9:30 a.m. until Mass time.
