Edward Nemeroff Obituary
Obituary published on Legacy.com by Abraham L. Green & Son Funeral Home on Apr. 4, 2022.
Edward Mark Nemeroff was etched into The Book of Life on Friday, February 19, 2022. Ed, aged 69 years, was survived by brother Jeffrey (Lisa), daughters Michelle (Aaron), and Randi (Aaron), as well as granddaughter Izabella.
He was born on May 17, 1952 in Brooklyn, NY. He graduated from Brooklyn Academy High School in Brooklyn, NY where he grew up. He went on to study at Kingsborough Community College.
From there he turned to medical equipment sales, where he later met his wife(Doris) and mother of his daughters. He loved to talk to people, making him a natural salesman, and bringing his vibrance for life only helped to further his career and friendships. When he moved back to Connecticut, he went to work for many years with his father Seymour, brother Michael, and cousin at his father's clothing designing business based out of Manhattan.
Later in life, he turned his skills and knowledge of medical equipment into a business where he traveled to dentists repairing and replacing equipment for their needs. He retired from his business in 2013.
He moved from New York in 1982 to spend a year in St. Louis, MO before settling in Massillon and later in the Akron area. After separating from his wife, he moved back to New York and eventually settled in Connecticut.
During his free time, he enjoyed watching baseball, playing catch with his children, and watching old tv shows and movies, including the Lone Ranger, Superman, the three stooges, Monty Python, Star Trek, and Star Wars. His sense of humor was youthful and inappropriate, and his laughter and smile were infectious.
His family was his world. He found great joy in video chatting with his daughters, granddaughter, and his brother (and his family.)
A memorial service was held on Sunday March 27, 2022 at 1:00pm at the home of Michelle Kaback, 3899 East Normandy Park Drive, Apt. I-3, Medina, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Autism Society or Milestones Autism Resources in honor of his granddaughter.
