Edward Oleksy Obituary
Edward Louis "Eddie O" Oleksy age 81 of Grand Lake passed away at St. Mary Medical Center in Saginaw on January 25, 2025.
He was born in Hamtramck to Edward and Frances (Bobowski) Oleksy on February 10, 1943.
Ed served in the United State Air Force. He retired as an engineer from General Motors. On May 2, 1992 he married Yvonne Liske-Miller in Livonia. They retired and moved to Grand Lake in 1997. He and Yvonne enjoyed wintering in Florida. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his Harley and spending time at his woods in Posen.
He is survived by is wife, Yvonne; two sons, Edward Steven (Marci) Oleksy of Cleveland, Ohio and Paul Joseph Oleksy of Indianapolis, Indiana; and a grandson, Nicholas Oleksy.
Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Saturday, February 1st from 1 p.m. through time his funeral at 2 p.m. Rogers City VFW Post 607 will offer a military tribute immediately following.
