Edward Perez

Edward Perez Jr, 47, resident of Schertz, Texas, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife and children.

Edward was born on October 27,1978, in Corpus Christi Texas. He grew up with a strong sense of family, responsibility, and faith that shaped the rest of his life. Edward proudly worked in the automotive industry for 23 years. There he made connections with many people, who loved and admired him, and who he would see as family at the end of his battle.

On May 5, 2012, Edward married the love of his life, Vangie Perez, with whom he shared 21 years of love and happiness. Together, they built a home filled with love, laughter, and tradition with their 5 children.

Edward enjoyed spending time with his loved ones, barbecuing on the weekends, and watching the Dallas Cowboys play on Sundays. He was known for his sense of humor, generosity, and willingness to help anyone in need.

Edward is survived by his beloved wife, Vangie Perez; his children, Celine (Luis) Estrada, Shelby Sandoval, Madison (Ryan) Massiatte, Shawn Perez, and Edward Perez lll.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Schertz Funeral Home at 2217 FM 3009 Schertz Texas 78154.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 11:00 am at Schertz Funeral Home, followed by graveside service at Schertz-Cibolo Cemetery.

Edward will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and cared for him.
