Edward Piro Obituary
With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Edward "Ed" Piro aged 81, on October 18, 2024, of Norwalk, Connecticut.
Ed was born in Stamford, Connecticut to the late George and Anna Piro. He was a graduate of J.M. Wright Technical High School and held positions in the electrical engineering industry. He went on to establish his own landscaping and handyman business and became the "handyman to the stars". In his early years, he was an avid dancer, once appearing on the television show American Bandstand. He also enjoyed the outdoors and loved to camp, snow ski and water ski. But most of all, family, and the times he spent with them, was his greatest love.
Ed was predeceased by his brothers, George and Michael, and sisters, Mary Boasso and Anna Moccia.
"Uncle Ed" is also survived by 9 loving nieces and nephews, their husbands and wives, as well as numerous grand and great-grandnieces and nephews.
A Mass to celebrate Ed's life will be held on October 30, at 10 AM at Saint Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave., Norwalk, CT.

I'm so sorry to hear of Eddie's passing. Also, I'm sorry I wasn't able to attend the services, I was there in spirit. Eddie was a great guy with a larger than life spirit. He will be missed.

Barb and I send our condolences. Many memories of Ed, as we literally grew up together. His sister Bernie married my brother Joe. Spent a lot of time hanging out as teenagers. Always was mad at him because he could dance better than me. Of course it was an affectionate mad. RIP my good friend.
