Edward T. Robinson

Edward Thomas Robinson was born March 27, 1926, in Philadelphia, PA to the late Charlie Walker Robinson and Louise Emma Custis. He was the oldest child of their five children. On July 17, 2024, Edward left his earthly world.
Edward was educated in the Philadelphia School District. He was later drafted into the United States Army. He was honorably discharged in June 1946. He worked at Budd Truck Manufacturing Plant on the assembly line, as well as Welder, and tough as nails Shop Stewart for over 35 years until his retirement.
Edward married the love of his life Susan Ann Howell (from Sewickley, PA). From their union Diane (who died as an infant) and Brenda were born.
To some he was affectionately known as "Daddy, Ed, Robbie, and Uncle Eddie"
Edward was an avid bowler and motorcycle enthusiast. He also commanded the notorious CB base station, well known for the handle "The Intimidator". He enjoyed cooking and loved baking. He had a side business as a licensed baker making his mother's Famous Pound Cake.
Edward is now reunited with wife, child, parents, and siblings.
Those who are left to celebrate Edward are his daughter, Brenda; a host of nieces and nephews; Cousins by the Dozens; and friends.
The family will receive friends starting 9 A.M. Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Wayside Chapel (Whitemarsh Memorial Park), 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002, with the Funeral Service at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
