Edward Joseph "Joe" Schneider

I remember Joe when he tagged me out when I tried to steal second base in Little League. I remember Joe when he scored 20 points in the FIRST HALF against top-seed Kutztown during the PIAA basketball championships. I remember Joe when in the alumni basketball game he took a shot from behind the foul line when he got knocked down and was lying on his back...and none of us were surprised when it WENT IN. And at each of those moments, as usual, he was kind and exuded humility. Rest in peace, Joe. Rest in peace.

I was so sorry to learn Mr. Schneider passed. I have very fond memories from PAMS in homeroom and in class. He was one of my favorites and always approachable. A true gem. Prayers for his family during this tough time. I have no doubt he will be missed.

I remember Mr. Schneider well from my 7th grade year at PAMS more than 35 years ago! His love of flair pens and perfectly colored maps while teaching in the closed off balcony of the auditorium will always bring a smile to my face. May all your memories bring you some peace and smiles.
