My name is Gary Sandes (NJSP Ret. Lt. #4830). I first worked with Eddie aka Silver Fox aka Cuz on the Turnpike and later in our careers in the office of professional standards (OPS). What I remember the most is Ed´s ability to relate to anyone no matter what their station in life. He was gifted with the ability to effectively talk to people (even those he arrested) and gain their respect. In OPS he approached cases with an open mind and always used his own experiences to reach a fair outcome. Eddie was a great Trooper and will be sadly missed.
