Edward "Ski" Sleczkowski

My Uncle Eddie was a constant source of laughs throughout my life and I spent exactly 54 Christmases with him. I know this because it´s one for every year of my life minus one. At these family occasions the party always got going with his arrival and the laughs ensued over countless games of cards and other silly games of which he was always an enthusiastic participant. Catch rings on your head with a silly hat? Wear a ridiculous costume? Sure he was game!
But I saw another side of him these past two weeks. His physical and mental strength was astounding. He was a Masterclass in exceptional courage and the way he handled his physical pain can only be described as noble. He enriched my life in so many ways and I will miss him a lot-especially at parties! He impacted my life in more ways than he´ll know- I am lucky to have been his niece. I will miss him always and remember him so fondly.
