Edward "Eugene" Spudowski

Edward (Eugene) Spudowski of Clinton Township Michigan passed away on 10/18/2025 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of Amelia Spudowski, with whom he spent 63 wonderful years of marriage with. Dearest father of Wendy (Eric) Seitz, Edward M. (Rachael) Spudowski, and Danny (Rita Fields) Spudowski. Cherished grandfather of Paige (Matthew), Christie, Rocky (Camie), Jamie, and Claire (Daniel). Loving great-grandfather of Cainan, Benjamin, and Levi. Caring brother of Marvin (the late Phyllis) Spudowski. Edward is preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Bertha Spudowski and by his 6 loving siblings.

As a decorated soldier, he served his country in the Korean War, following in the footsteps of his brothers Henry, Chester, Floyd and Sonny who all served with distinction in World War II.

In 1982, faced with losing his job when his department was planned to be closed, Edward bought the equipment, rented the space, kept the customers and started his own business that is still thriving to this day.

Edward leaves behind a legacy of hard work, service and family.

Visitation Friday, October 24th, 2025 from 3-9pm, with a Rosary at 7pm, at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc. 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). Instate Saturday, October 25th, 2025, at 10am until Funeral Mass at 10:30am at St. Thecla Catholic Church, 20740 S Nunneley Rd., Clinton Township, MI 48035. Immediately following Mass, there will be a lunch reception at Premier Events Center - 20400 S Nunneley Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035.

Interment Thursday, October 30th, 2025 at 1:00pm at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442.
