74, passed away August 13, 2024. Lifelong resident of Chicago's Southside, Clearing neighborhood. Beloved son of the late Edward J. Usavage and the late Emily Usavage (Ribelis); loving brother of the late Patricia Ann (Late Ronald James) Prusa, and Richard (late Mary Ann) Usavage; cherished uncle of Ronald (Barbara) Prusa, Donna Prusa, Michael Prusa, and Debbie (James) Rediger and great-uncle of Michael, Ashley, Ronald, Megan, and Kevin.
Edward was a proud United States Navy Veteran. He was dedicated to his country and his family and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
The funeral services will be held privately for his family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Central Chapel, Chicago.

My condolences to the family. I have known Eddie for over 40 years. We met when I moved into the condo building where he and his parents were living. I was very fortunate to have such helpful and caring neighbors. Peace be with you, Eddie...(and I am sure that God has some really cool cars waiting for you).

My condolences to the family. Eddie (as we knew him back then) and I were classmates at St, David's. At the start of our teenage years, we hung out together and shared a common interest in cars (hot rods, dragsters, & the upcoming muscle cars). Good memories. Rest in peace my friend.
