Edward Dixon Obituary
He was born June 18, 1991, at Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., the son of Bridget Rice Cassidy and Donald S. Dixon.
Edward moved to Butler in May of 1999, and attended Butler schools. He graduated with a GED diploma in 2011.
He worked as a chef and interned with his friend, Jeremy Critchfield at the Stone House, then became a manager at Bird Dog's Sports Bar and Grill.
Surviving are his fiancée and their baby, Kiersten Malak, and her family; his mother and stepdad, Bridget (Gary) Cassidy of Butler; his sister, Laura Brackett of Butler; his brother, Donald (Stephanie) Brackett of Thomasville, N.C.; his stepsisters, Jill Cassidy and Tabatha (Joey) Glover of Steubenville, Ohio; his stepbrother, Scott (Diana) Cassidy of New Cumberland; his father, Donald Dixon; his half-sister, Dawn Dixon of Colorado; his nephews, Braydon Hoffman, Colin Hoffman, Kristepher Brackett, Austin Horton, Michael Cassidy, Aaron Sheetz and Issac Cassidy; and his nieces, Vivica Dunlap, Tressa Howard, Lexi Howard, Cora Young and Sara Strock.
He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, who loved him very much; and his best friend, Larry Ford, who was always there for him.
A special thanks to Aunt P. and Uncle Billy for being there.
DIXON - Friends of Edward Warren Dixon, who died Wednesday, March 31, 2021, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.
Burial will be private.

Eddy is the father of my 1st great grandchild. He was such a kind and gentle soul. He treated Kiersten with such love and respect and was an excellent hugger. I will miss him dearly but will never forget how special he was.
