Barbara, I am terribly sorry for your loss - My favorite memory of Ed was when I had gone through a hard time and finally had a place of my own with my young daughter, Jenny. I was delivering typesetting to the shop in Gonic. Out of the blue he asked me if I needed a bed. (he had such a beautiful smile) He had no idea that I had been sleeping on a couch for what seemed like 2 years. That morning, I had a prayer in my heart as I looked at the empty bedroom, picturing a full size bed - I was just so grateful to have a place of my own. I just thanked God for his mercy. I could not believe my ears when he asked me if I needed a bed. I had to ask him again. He said, I just received a shipment of 20 box springs and mattresses this morning, and I was wondering if you could use one. I said, 'yes!' of course! When they delivered the bed, the men saw that my house was very empty and brought over a comfy chair or two and I can't remember what else. You both meant a lot to me - love, Nancy
