Edwardo Gonzalez, Sr Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Eddie Gonzalez Sr. on January 29, 2025. Eddie was born June 1, 1958 in Tijuana, Mexico, and raised in Los Angeles, California. A proud and dedicated individual, he served his country with honor as a member of the United States Army, stationed at Fort Hood, Texas.
After his time in the military, Eddie moved to Mineral Wells, Texas, where he worked diligently at the Correctional Corporation of America (CCA) until the facility's closure. Known for his hard work, integrity, and kindness, Eddie made a lasting impact on those around him.
He is survived by Sons Eddie Gonzalez Jr and his wife Sarah Gonzalez, Eric Gonzalez, his mother Becky Gonzalez and his spouse Brittany Buchanan. Granddaughters Reagan Gonzalez and Marcella Gonzalez Brothers Jamie Gonzalez (Veronica), Bobby Gomez (Wendy), Cesar Gomez, Sister Olivia Yescas (Rigo) and many aunts and cousins. He is proceeded in death by his mother Virgina Gomez. His legacy of love, strength, and dedication will live on in all who knew him.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home on Sunday 02/02/25 at 11am - 1pm
