Edwin "Ed" Gene Crigger, age 68, of Dover, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2025, at his home.
He was born February 13, 1957, in Havre De Grace, Maryland to George Lewis Crigger and Minnie Gervice Stevens Crigger. Ed was a retired Mason. When he wasn't riding his Harley or playing Texas Hold-Em you could find him in his garage, music blaring, fixing and restoring automobiles, or in the kitchen where he loved to cook and bake. Tough as he was, he had a soft spot for animals and loved them dearly. Ed was deeply loved by his family and will be truly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Crigger; grandparents, George and Minnie Gervice Crigger; brother, Doug McAdams; father-in-law, Lee Alderson and brothers-in-law, Jerry Wilson and Randy Alderson.
Survivors include his wife, Denise; daughter, Melissa (Daniel); son, Dylan Rylee (Lindsey); mother, Shirley J. Greiner; mother-in-law, Vanita Alderson; brother, Don McAdams (Tammy); sisters-in-law, Lisa Alderson, Vanita Wilson and her son Morgan; grandchildren, Venus, Neveah, Fox, Maddox, Posey, Bryce, Parker; great-grandson, Javier and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
