Edwin Myles Feldmiller passed away on February 21, 2026, at the age of 38, in a tragic motorcycle accident. He was a treasured son, brother, boyfriend, and uncle, and was known for his deeply kind heart.
Born on June 20, 1987, in
Mesa, Arizona, Myles was the only boy among six sisters; a role he embraced with a big smile, humor, and a natural instinct for connection. He looked strikingly like his very handsome grandfather, a resemblance his family cherished.
Myles' love of the outdoors began with camping at just two years old with his father. He found peace on the open road, enjoyed a deep conversation with a friend, and loved a challenging chess match.
Music was woven into every part of Myles' world. He was well known for his piano skills, his ability to quote movies by heart, and his encyclopedic knowledge of film and music. A proud metalhead and devoted concertgoer, he delighted in sharing concerts and music festivals with his family and friends which created memories they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
Myles was an accredited photographer, videographer, and drone pilot. He was drawn to visual storytelling from an early age. What began in childhood with a camcorder nearly as big as he was grew into a meaningful creative career. From filming music videos to photographing bands in concert, he was happiest on set behind a camera.
Like his grandfather, Myles found joy and freedom in riding his motorcycle. He loved the sense of independence it gave him, and the way it mirrored his adventurous spirit. Riding was one of many ways he experienced the world fully and on his own terms.
Myles was a thoughtful gift giver and a wonderful listener. He was the ultimate hype man; someone who believed in other people's dreams. A warrior at heart and a good Samaritan to many, he was a natural protector who always helped in times of need. His kindness was sincere and unassuming, offered without expectation.
Above all, Myles was a loving and devoted family member. He was deeply grateful for his life, the people he loved, and the experiences he was fortunate to have.
Myles leaves behind a legacy of loving kindness for his parents, sisters, nieces and nephews, his girlfriend, and many friends all over the country. His loss is felt profoundly by all who knew him, and he will be remembered for the way he made the world brighter simply by being in it.
Myles is survived by his parents, Jerry Wayne Feldmiller and Elvia Margarita Feldmiller (née Aponte); his grandfather, Jerry Leigh Feldmiller; his six sisters, Nicole Marie Harvey, Harmony Lynn Shreve, Caitlin Jean Richardson, Elvia Arianne Feldmiller, Martha Janelle DeJong, and Jenevieve Mariah Feldmiller; and many nieces and nephews, uncles, and aunts.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Myles' name to "Road Guardians" (Accident Scene Management), a non-profit which focuses on trauma response training to reduce motorcycle fatalities. Donations made in Myles' name will help fund motorcycle safety programs and can include a tribute on their National Memorial Wall.
