Following graduation from Little Rock University, now UALR, Ed served in the Army receiving training at Fort Chaffee and Fort Leonard Wood. Upon completion of his service to our country, Ed began his 42 year career in banking where he eventually served as the executive vice president of the west division of Regions Bank. Following his retirement, Ed enjoyed breakfast with his friends every Friday morning, caring for his horses on the farm, traveling to horse shows, and attending weekly meetings of the Little Rock Touchdown Club, where he had the privilege of meeting many football greats.
Ed’s priority in life was to care for his son, Lee. He treasured the many memories they made together. Ed was especially proud of Lee's accomplishments through Pathfinder’s and Special Olympic events.
